Even if you’re not a fan of Taylor Swift’s music you have to admit she is a pretty savvy business lady.

She’s already sued Etsy shops and her former guitar teacher for using her name in his domain name. (story here)

And when she learned that the Internet Corporation For Assigned Names would be creating new URLs, she was quick to grab her own.

The domain suffix “.porn” will be available to internet pioneers on June 1st. Swift’s team has already purchased “TaylorSwift.porn,” to prepare for an onslaught of cunning buyers looking to turn the new address types into quick cash based on celeb names:

[Companies] may want to consider buying property on a negative or R-rated domain if they want to prevent it from being bought and used by someone else. (via)

In addition to “.porn,” there will be a new “.sucks” domain so business savvy haters have a grand time of turning existing things into things that “dot suck.” No word on whether TaylorSwift.sucks is on the way yet.
