Bye, Felicia! Zendaya has no time for haters. The singer-actress responded perfectly to Twitter trolls who recently called her parents ugly via the social media site.

The situation began when someone posted a throwback photo of Zendaya and her parents, Claire Stoermer and Kazembe Ajamu Coleman, from a red carpet event. “They made a gorgeous ass child lol,” the caption read. The post was followed by several negative comments, with some people even saying that they “would cry” if they had Stoermer and Coleman as parents.

“First I’m gonna pray for you. While you’re so concerned about what my parents look like, please know that these are two of the most selfless people in the world,” Zendaya, 18, responded on Twitter. “They have chosen to spend their entire life, not worried about trivial things such as looks and insulting people’s parents on Twitter, but instead became educators who have dedicated their lives to teaching, cultivating and filling young shallow mind. (One of the most important yet underpaid jobs we have).”

“Please, log out, go to school, hug a teacher and read a textbook,” Zendaya continued. “And while you’re at it, go look in the mirror and know that you too are beautiful, because such hateful things only stem from internal struggles. Bless you.”

Zendaya isn’t shy about standing up for herself. Back in February, the former Dancing With the Stars contestant called out Giuliana Rancic for saying she and her dreadlocks looked like they smelled of patchouli oil. The comments went viral, and Rancic later apologized.
