Cate Blanchett has a brand new role!

  • She’s usually a pretty serious actress, doing Woody Allen movies and putting on an intense performance.

  • Now this new role will be as Lucille Ball, star of I Love Lucy! Which means, even if it IS a biopic…there will be a BIT of comedy. Which is great! It’s always so fun to see actors or actresses break out of their normal roles!

  • The Lucille Ball biopic will be following her 20 year relationship with Cuban bandleader Desi Arnaz, who also played her husband in I Love Lucy.
