Twin brothers killed and six teenagers have been seriously injured, after an accident that occurred at the Calgary Bobsled and Luge track located in the Canadian Olympic Park.

  • The group had gone into the park after hours and attempted to ride their sled down the track.

  • “Part way down, the group hit a large gate used to separate the bobsled and luge tracks,” say the police.

  • The gate is constructed partly with concrete. Emergency crews were called to the incident at 1:30 in the morning and the first responders pronounced the twins dead at the scene of the crime. The victims families have been notified. The six injured teens have not been identified yet due to their severe injuries.
