Another armed robbery in Edmonton has left a Mac’s store clerk hospitalized.

  • Mid December we saw two deaths from armed robberies in the city. With this latest incident the call for action to be taken to protect overnight workers is even stronger!

  • “Yet another attack on a Mac’s store worker is just an indication of how urgent the need is and how we simply can’t wait any longer for action to keep these workers safe,” said Gil McGowan of the Alberta Federation of Labour.(Source CBC)

  • Maybe we are biased on the show. All of us drove past the scenes of the crimes first thing in the morning, and saw the extent of the damage. It’s scary, and it needs to end!
