  • Here’s what we found:

  • TappCar drivers are fully insured and have a Class 4 license (or equivalent) and they promise no surprise $1k bills on the busy days.

  • Pascal Ryffel, the companies spokesperson, says “We’re different from Uber because we’re fully legal,”

    “We’re also driver focused, all of our drivers have pensions and health care benefits which is quite different from the taxi brokers as well.”
