LISTEN: Iggy Azalea Releases New Song 'Team'!

The song will appear on her upcoming album Digital Distortion which is set to be released later this year.

Hard to think of another hip hop artist who had a more difficult year than Iggy Azalea (maybe Meek Mill).

After hit songs like ‘Fancy’, ‘Problem’ (with Ariana Grande) and ‘Black Widow’, Iggy endured a rough patch that included very public feuds (most of them on social media) with fellow rappers, Nicki Minaj, Azealia Banks,  and Q-Tip.

She told London-based magazine Schön! that last year, all of the drama had a huge effect on her mental state, “I had to have a psychotic breakdown last year…….I felt tired and stressed out. Last year, I felt like I was definitely not in control of the media’s narrative of me.”

The breakdown she says it what led to her canceling her entire ‘Great Escape Tour’.

This week (March 22nd), Iggy will perform ‘Team’ for the very first time on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
