A pair of Canadian geese scored  prime real estate in downtown Edmonton .

The geese set up shop at the corner of 102nd Avenue and 100th Street, the Churchill Exchange Building.

They arrived in April and began building a large nest on a patio overlooking Churchill Square.

Building residents are not happy about it.

“They’re quite noisy, especially in the mornings. They can honk up a storm so they’re waking people up,”

Despite their bad neighbors status management is doing its best to accommodate them

Canadian Geese are a protected species so residents have been told the patio is off-limits until the birds find better digs.

Health Canada estimates it will be about a month before they find a new home, but residents aren’t sure… they seem to be making themselves at home!
