Zero Tolerance For Backyard Fires, $250 IMMEDIATE Fine

“Anyone caught breaking that ban will now get slapped with an immediate $250 fine.” -The City Of Edmonton

Fire fighters have already had to respond to 115+ pit fires. They are now saying there will be NO tolerance for anyone breaking the fire ban.

AS THEY SHOULD!

Please, Edmonton, Alberta…THERE IS A FIRE BAN. DON’T HAVE A CAMPFIRE!

No more warnings will be issued. The first response will be a fine. If you see smoke, please report it immediately!

PLEASE REFRAIN FROM:

• Backyard fires / pit fires
• Charcoal BBQ’s
• Tossing that lit cig out the window
• Fireworks
• Any open burning
