Tim Hortons Co-Founder Donates $2M To Red Cross

Billionaire Timmies co-founder, Ron Joyce, donated $2 MILLION to the Canadian Red Cross to put towards helping the people of Fort McMurray.

The donation is from Joyce and his family, and is the largest personal donation the Red Cross has received! Royce said:

“It is part of our Canadian culture to look after one another during times of need. This tragedy really exemplifies the solidarity of our nation and we are privileged to be in the position to assist in the relief efforts.”

The president and CEO of the Canadian Red Cross, Conrad Sauve, said this about Royce’s donation:

“The needs are great and this very generous donation from the Joyce family will help support individuals, families and communities as they work to rebuild their lives.”
