Previous Info prior to update:

The RCMP are seeking the homeowners of several houses that were damaged by an explosion last week in fort McMurray.

Some of the homes damaged by a fire were in the Thickwood area on Silin Forest Road near Father Patrick Mercredi Community School.

According to the CBC the explosion happened at a home on Clenell Crescent in Dickinsfield, damaging nearby homes on Dickins Drive.

The damage assessments for these homes have already been done but the police have been unable to contact the owners.

If you live in these areas,  or know someone who does/might, please share this info with them and use the Wood Buffalo Fire Assessment Tool to see if the affected area is near your home. Here is a link: firemap.rmwb.ca
