Drivers Hit At Least One Pole A Day In Edmonton

Time to step up your driving game. #SafetyFirst

Edmonton, we need to do something about terrible drivers. Some 2015 driving & collision statistics have been released, and we’re up 3.6% on how many collisions that happened in 2014!

There’s a recorded 25,517 collisions in 2015, and 374 of them were driver running into POLES! That’s more than one a day!! The list of things also includes 321 posts, signs & parking meters, 183 trees, 65 snow banks, 44 buildings, 41 fire hydrants AND 23 bus shelters!

This is NOT GOOD!!! Maybe we all need a little refresher, driving school anyone??
