New Study Says Music Affects How Beer Tastes

No wonder “good music & good beer” is a saying! Or did I just make that up…

Ever drink a beer to a really bad song?? You probably have, and it probably didn’t taste as good as when you’re listening to your favourite banger.

Well, you listening to awful music and drinking beer has actually been for SCIENCE!! A new study out of Belgium says that music can alter how people perceive the taste and even the strength of beer! The study involved people trying a beer twice, but while listening to different music.

Researchers found that music with deep, rumbling bass made beer taste more bitter, while  a “Disney-style track” caused people to rate the beers as tasting sweeter!

Did someone say we should try this out?!?!?! I’m in!
