In April The Pepper & Dylan Show posted about the Malm IKEA drawer’s new warning, that had to be put on the furniture after two young children died by being crushed by the drawer.

Recently another child was killed, leading IKEA to recall all the Malm drawers.

As posted by The Canadian Press, the three deaths were all of young children in the States. Thirty six children have also been injured.

There is a wall securing component with the Malm, but even with the warnings and instructions, deaths and injuries have still happened, pushing IKEA to make their latest decision to recall the product.

Everyone on The Pepper & Dylan Show owns a Malm, but we are all lucky enough to have had zero problems with them / old enough children to not have an accident with the furniture.

If you have a Malm and small children, please remember to either secure it to the wall, or take the recall into consideration and maybe switch out the furniture.

Hope you have a good Tuesday!
