Louisiana has now been declared a major disaster zone by the U.S. government, after it was hit with 17 inches of rain in 24 hours.

It’s confirmed that at least 4 people have died, and 7,000 have had to be rescued.

The force of the flood can be seen in the images of a graveyard, where the flooding has caused coffins to be dislodged.

Sadly, this flood is being called worse than the one that happened due to Hurricane Katrina.
