The feud between Taylor Swift and Katy Perry has been a strange one with the two never really taking direct shots at one another, but instead doing so (like many do), via social media and in interviews. But now it appears as Katy is willing to go as far as collaborating with Taylor, but there’s a catch…

So how did their feud begin?

The rumours started after Taylor’s 2014 Rolling Stone interview where she explained that her song, ‘Bad Blood’ is about a conflict she had with a well-known artist.

In the interview, Taylor described the conflict, saying, “she did something so horrible. I was like, ‘Oh, we’re just straight-up enemies’. And it wasn’t even about a guy! It had to do with business”.

Taylor added, “she would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, ‘Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'”

“She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I’m surprisingly non-confrontational – you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It’s awkward, and I don’t like it. I know people will make it this big girl-fight thing. But I just want people to know it’s not about a guy.”

Well, soon thereafter the interview, Katy Perry tweeted out the following,

Taylor would go on to say in an interview with The Telegraphthat she was no longer talking about Katy Perry in any of her interviews, “I’m not giving [the press] anything to write about,” she said. “I’m never going to talk about her in my interview. It’s not going to happen.”

“It’s not real if someone appears to never have any issues with anyone. I have my friends. I have enemies.”

Then came the brief Twitter spat between Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift, that involved their music videos; Katy Perry made sure to chime in…

Throw in Calvin Harris, Kanye West, and Kim Kardashian and the feud between Taylor and Katy has been quite complex, but a collaboration between the two would surely sound amazing and make a ton of headlines (the good kind).

MAKE THIS HAPPEN!
