Yesterday #99 cut the ribbon for the official grand opening of his No. 99 Gretzky’s Wine and Whisky restaurant!

It’s located at the Edmonton International Airport, and serves not only wine and whisky but also some of Wayne’s favorite childhood meals.

Like perogies and polish sausage!!

“It’s a family recipe from my dad’s mother, Mary. I don’t know how to make them, but I know how to eat them”

The restaurant has items of memorabilia from Gretzky’s hockey career, but majority of the focus is on the dining. Some of the food and drink will also be available in other places in the airport.
