#RepealThe19th

That’s the hashtag being used on social media platforms by extreme Trump supporters.

The 19th Amendment is what gave women the right to vote. Essentially these supporters (using information given by FiveThirtyEight) feel that the 19th Amendment should be removed, removing women’s rights to vote, which they think will give Trump the advantage.

FiveThirtyEight posted these maps based on polls they did:

After these polls were public, the #RepealThe19th began surfacing.

If you search it on Twitter you’ll see mainly tweets condemning the hashtag.
