This Premature Baby's Smile Is Giving Parents Hope

This image (seen above) was posted two years ago by Lauren Vinje of her very premature 5 HOUR old baby.

It went viral incredibly quickly, and the family received a lot of support at the time due to the fact that they weren’t sure how their preemie infant’s health would be at the time.

 

“Under the comments, I read through a lot of the stories and it’s [for] moms to know, especially mom who are going through it now … they don’t have to go through it alone.”

Now, two years later, Lauren’s smiling daughter Freya is well and healthy 🙂

Lauren encourages parents who go through traumatic premature births to open up and share their stories to help find closure.
