Today, the City of Edmonton announced that the entire fleet of Edmonton Transit buses are now equipped with smart bus-tech.

“Edmonton Transit System (ETS) has installed Smart Bus technology on all 928 buses in its fleet, allowing riders to check when their bus is coming before they head to any one of 7,300 bus stops.”

There are 928 buses in the fleet, and now they will be able to deliver more accurate service. All thanks to real time data usage!

They have now recommended downloading the ‘transit App’ abandoning their own app in favor of this more accurate service as well.
