Sabra Hummus has voluntarily recalled a large amount of their products due to possible Listeria contamination.

Sabra found Listeria monocytogenes at one of its manufacturing facilities.  The U.S. Food and Drug Administration provided this news Saturday in a press release.

The bacteria hasn’t yet to be found in its tested finished products however.

The recalled hummus was distributed to Canada and The USA with a “Best Before” date through Jan. 23, 2017.

If you have a Sabra product with this date, you are advised to immediately throw out.

The products that HAVE NOT been recalled are; Sabra Organic Hummus (different than the classic one, which IS recalled) Sabra Salsa, Sabra Guacamole, and Sabra Greek Yogurt Dips.

A list of all the recalled items can be found >>Here<<

The symptoms of Listeria are a high fever, severe headaches, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.
