It’s that time of the year again when we celebrate amazing musical talent in Canada!

On April 2nd, trophies will be handed out in Ottawa to deserving Canadian artists.

What we can expect from this year’s awards ceremony:

  • Performances from Shawn Mendes, A Tribe Called Red, The Strumbellas and Alessia Cara
  • $1 from every ticket sold is donated to MusiCounts, helping children and youth across Canada gain access to musical instruments via Plus 1.

This morning, the nominations were announced, and The Weeknd, Drake and Shawn Mendes lead the pack with 5 nominations each.
