But you’ll notice, the Oscars flub is the BIGGEST topic this morning on majority of media platforms.

Some people are speculating that the whole mistake was actually planned, among them is our very own Dylan!

The Snapchat filter is probably the most popular case for why the mistake was planned.

Unless the Oscars have some crazy leverage over social media (Which is quite possible) then they would have to make Snapchat filters the same way we do and other stations and TV programs do. You have to send the filter idea AT LEAST a few days ahead of time. In fact…if it’s a popular event the filter needs to be weeks in advance!

Still… we’re just speculating here. Though 2016 and 2017 do have a trend of very talked about mishaps.
