City Of Edmonton has issued a seasonal parking ban that started today at 7am.

“With the snowfall over the weekend, we are focusing our efforts on arterial roads, bus routes and collector roads.”

-Said Eduardo Sosa, director of roadway maintenance, in and interview with the CBC.

Cars that park on designated routes may get ticketed or towed as while the ban is in effect.

The city has also made it clear that you will be towed or ticketed when parked in a banned area EVEN if the grates have already gone by there.
