The brand COACH just announced that they will be buying Kate Spade for $18.50 a share – total transaction value of $2.4 billion.

Coach released a statement saying “[the combined company] will create a leading luxury lifestyle company [supported by] significant expertise in handbag design, merchandising, supply chain, and retail operations.”

Coach CEO Victor Luis also said, “Kate Spade has a truly unique and differentiated brand positioning with a broad lifestyle assortment and strong awareness among consumers, especially millennials.”

We’re unsure as to how this change will affect the actual products, but based on the articles being posted this morning you shouldn’t have to worry about iconic Coach or Kate Spade bag looks, changing.

This being said, could a hybrid bag be in the work?? We definitely aren’t fashion experts so YOU can let US know about that one.
