Britax has recalled more than 200,000 B-Safe car seats.

Britax has recalled more than 200,000 of their B-Safe infant car seats because the attached chest clip contains a defect that could pose a choking hazard. The recall affects certain B-Safe 35, B-Safe 35 Elite and BOB B-Safe 35 infant car seat models that were manufactured between November 1, 2015 and May 31, 2017.

If you are an owner of a recalled car seat you have some options.

First, visit the Britax recall website and enter your product’s serial number to make sure it’s one of the recalled models.

Then, if your seat IS a recalled one, and it’s registered, you will receive a free replacement chest clip.

If it’s NOT registered, contact Britax to be sent a safe clip by calling 1-833-474-7016 or email Stroller.Recall@britax.com.

Or, you can continue to safely use the product as long as you remove the chest clip or monitor the center tab of the chest clip for signs of breakage.

*If you have any other info on this recall (or if we mistakenly provided information differing to what you’ve heard) please let us know in the comments or in a message, thanks!*
