Last week, Pink released her fiery new single, ‘What About Us’ and now we have a music video!

The video shows a variety of people of different races, ethnicity and other cultural backgrounds seemingly in pain and feeling marginalized and left out from the rest of society.

I think some of the most powerful imagery comes from the two men who fight each other throughout the video, only to embrace one another at the end, signaling what I interpret to be an acknowledgement from them that they are ONE and that there is no reason to fight.

By the way, the ‘fighting’ is demonstrated through beautiful choreography.

Pink actually teased what the video would look on Instagram last month when she announced the release of ‘What About Us’.

‘What About Us’ is the first single from Pink’s forthcoming album, Beautiful Trauma which is set to be released on October 13th.

Prior to the single’s release, Pink took to Instagram and said, “I’m certifiably, insanely proud of this album. It’s been a while, and I’m grateful for all the years we’ve had. Looking forward to the next chapter with you.”
