Ellen DeGeneres Being Called Sexist Over Birthday Tweet to Katy Perry

After sending a tweet to Katy Perry on her birthday, some people, mostly on twitter, are saying it was sexist. The main criticism is- if it were a man who had sent the tweet he would be blasted. Not only that, some seem to  think Ellen would be one of the first ones to do the blasting.

Lots of people are defending her and saying it’s not fair to compare something like this to the alleged criminal activities of Harvey Weinstein:
