After Canada Day, the Muttart Conservatory is closing down for 18 months for some renos!

These renovations are needed to  ensure safety of the pyramids for another 40 years!

If you’re a plant lover or, just want to experience the joys of the Pyramids one more time before the closure, you still have time!

The Conservatory is offering extended hours of operation…

It will be open until 9 P.M on Wednesday and Thursday, with regular hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The City said that each pyramid will feature the best shows from the last few years!

The Conservatory will also hold a Canada Day party with indoor and outdoor activities!

There will be some furry friends from Second Chance Animal Rescue attending the festivities, and some hand on activities like Bannock cooking, seed planting and crafts!

The renovations will begin on July 2nd and include the Culina restaurant and the horticultural pyramids.

Don’t worry, horticultural staff will remain on site to take care of the plants!
