Not only are the ice sculptures impressive but, there is music and an ice bar! It is a great way to spend a day, or evening. Plus, you’re already on Whyte Ave so you can easily hop to the next bar! Tickets are on sale now!

2. Ice Castles

The Ice Castles are coming back to Edmonton! These magical castles will make you feel like you’re queen Elsa and, they’re insanely Instagram-able! Bundle up and go enjoy them!

3. Victoria Park Iceway

Okay. Picture this: Mario Kart in real life, on skates! The Victoria Park Iceway makes that dream come true! It is pure winter magic with all of the colourful lights. Take your guy or gal there, hold hands and skate around! *Aww*

4. The GIANT Gingerbread House at The Hotel MacDonald

I mean, this thing is GIANT. It is literally the biggest Gingerbread in Canada and it is right here in Edmonton! The Hotel MacDonald has a ton of amazing views and things you can enjoy while you’re there! Once again, it’s super Instagram-able and, maybe it will give you some inspo for your own Gingerbread house!

5. Zoominescence

This would be the BEST date night! The Edmonton Valley Zoo transforms in to a colourful festival of lights with awesome tunnels and some art installations! Plus, the animal exhibits are open! YES PLEASE!

6. Luminaria at The U of A Botanic Garden

I think that this picture says it all! A romantic walk through a garden while candle lit? Umm. Yes. It’s a perfect date spot!

7. Glow Edmonton

Literal engagements have happened here! It is so magical and pretty! (Think about the Instagram posts!!). It is also indoors so, you’re not freezing your toosh off! Plus, there is a bar and the cups are cute light bulbs!
