COVID-19

Alberta reported 278 new COVID-19 cases yesterday. 254 patients are currently being treated in hospitals, with 36 patients in ICU beds. An additional six fatalities have been added to the province’s total death toll.

Alberta has reached step two in the reopening plan. The biggest impact will be on retail stores as their max capacity is rising from 15 per cent to 25 per cent. The province will move to step three as early as March 22.

Edmonton Oilers

The Edmonton Oilers beat Ottawa last night with a score of 3 – 2. Connor McDavid ended his three-game streak without scoring yesterday when he received two assists.

The Oilers will play against Ottawa once again tomorrow at 6:00 PM.
