Theatre Prospero and Thousand Faces Festival are happy to present a special online broadcast of ‘Rocko and Nakota: Tales from the Land’.

“Meet Nakota, an isolated indigenous 11-year-old boy trying to write his own stories and find his way forward. One day, his 103-year-old grandfather Rocko visits him while he is in the hospital and together they explore many stories of the present along with the long-forgotten stories of the past.”

The broadcast will be on National Indigenous Peoples Day, June 21st, with support from EPCOR’s Heart+Soul Fund. The show is performed and written by Anishinaabe artist Josh Languedoc, and this will be it’s first broadcast online!

The stream will be free to watch. For more information click here.
