Taylor Swift surprised fans by releasing ‘This Love (Taylor’s Version,’ a fan-favourite off of her 1989 album.  “‘This Love’ (My version!) is out & I’m currently reliving the 1989 tour in my head and spiraling.  It’s fine,” Taylor wrote in an Instagram post.

The release comes after Taylor re-stocked her official store with both 1989 and Speak Now merch.  On Thursday, fans were given a preview of ‘This Love (Taylor’s Version)’ in the Amazon Prime trailer for ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty,’ which is a new TV show based on the Jenny Han book, of the same name.

According to the show’s synopsis, “The Summer I Turned Pretty is a multigenerational drama that hinges on a love triangle between one girl (Lola Tung) and two brothers, Conrad (Christopher Briney) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno), the ever-evolving relationship between mothers and their children, and the enduring power of strong female friendship.”  The show also stars Jackie Chung, Rachel Blanchard, Sean Kaufman, Alfredo Narciso, Minnie Mills, and Colin Ferguson.

“Thank you @jennyhan for debuting my version of This Love in the trailer for @thesummeriturnedpretty!! I’ve always been so proud of this song and I’m very about this turn of events,” Taylor writes on Instagram.
