Family Films at the Library 

The Edmonton Public Library (EPL) has multiple movie screening events this month. This Sunday the EPL is showing Toy Story 4 for your viewing pleasure. Of course, this event is family friendly and totally free! If you can’t make this event, check out the site here for future events.

Oilers vs. Stars 

The Dallas Stars are coming to town this weekend to play against our very own Edmonton Oilers. Bring the kids down to Rogers Place and cheer our boys on in orange and blue – or cheer on the Stars (if you dare). The game kicks off at 2 pm – get your tickets here.

Downtown Detectives 

Have you ever wanted to be a detective? Put your detective skills to the test with this interactive clue-solving adventure. This event is perfect for groups of up to 5 people, plus you get to explore and uncover hidden gems within downtown Edmonton. Up for the challenge? Pumpkin Smash!

Take your Halloween pumpkins and get to smashing this weekend! Pumpkin Smash is hosted by Compost School and is free to all. Also, you can learn more about the useful skill of composting! Smashing starts at 1 pm and runs until 4 pm. For more details – see here.

Edmonton Collector Con 

The Edmonton Collector Con kicks off this Sunday for its final event of the year! This family friendly event is for collectors of all levels (casual to serious). Vendors on site will have a variety of goods including vintage toys, comic books, video games and pop culture collectibles. General admission is just $7 and kids under 12 get in for free!
