Her song, ‘Home With You’ has over 80 million streams, she has over 10.7 million followers on Instagram not to mention another 2.6 million on Twitter.  She’s a singer and no stranger to the fashion world – I’m talking about Long Island native Madison Beer and she’s this month’s ‘One To Watch’ artist!

Let’s go back to the beginning – Madison knew from the age of 10 that she wanted to become a singer.  By the age of 12, she began posting cover songs to the web and her cover of Etta James’ ‘At Last’ caught Justin Bieber’s attention.  Justin then tweeted out the video through his own Twitter page and helped Madison sign to Island Records.  She later went on to record the theme song with Cody Simpson for Monster High and eventually parted ways with Island Records.  Since then, Madison has gained a massive fan base, has well over 83 million views on YouTube and at 19-years-old, she made the decision to finally release a project that she was comfortable with, independently.

On February 2, 2018, Madison dropped her first EP called ‘As She Pleases’ which includes the sounds of ‘sheer pop, blues, ballads and R&B.’  Madison explains, “I wanted it to be ‘As She Pleases’, meaning you can do whatever you want when your put your mind to it.  You don’t have to be scared of anything or do anything you don’t want to do.”  Madison also co-wrote all seven songs on the EP and she says, “I wanted to just not hold back with anything and have it come through my heart and be all of me.  I wanted it to be a true representation of me and the things I like – there are a lot of aspects that are really true to me and who I am.”

Madison’s song ‘Dead’ racked up over 41 million Spotify streams since dropping back in August of 2017 and it even got a remix from Cedric Gervais who also remixed ‘Summertime Sadness’ by Lana Del Rey.  Her next song, ‘Say It To My Face’ was produced by Fred Ball, who is Grammy-nominated and also worked alongside Little Mix and Rihanna (to name a few).  ‘Say It To My Face’ received over 1.5 million streams in its first week-and-a-half when it dropped in November 2017.  And we can’t forget ‘Tyler Durden’ – a ballad that was inspired by Madison’s favourite movie, ‘Fight Club.’

Since releasing her latest EP (which has been streamed over 100 million times), Madison has toured both Europe and the U.S. and as The Guardian writes, “The American teenager  pulls off somersaulting vocals and pin-drop performances with regal poise.  In full you-go flight, Beer is impossible to resist.”

And singing isn’t the only thing this Long Island beauty does – she launched a fashion collaboration this past spring which was inspired by Madison’s ‘unapologetic attitude’ and the brand rocks a ’90s style vibe and Madison is also the face of Bvlgari’s Omnia Pink Sapphire fragrance launch.

Madison is ready to show the world who she truly is and her overall goal – to hopefully inspire listeners along the way.  Madison explains, “I wanted to be a voice and wanted to have people look up to me like, ‘If Madison can do it, then I can do it.’  That’s something I’ve always been really interested in communicating.  I hope that’s how it’s translated, and that people listen to it the way that I’m to portray it.”
