The fight against poaching and habitat loss is taking a turn for tigers. For the first time in 100 years, the world’s tiger population has increased!

It’s kind of a reality for us to see posts online about the decrease of animal populations around the world, so it’s GREAT to see this news!

It’s been estimated that the number of tigers living in the wild to be at 3,890.

That’s up around 700 animals from the 2010 figure.
