Nothing like two amazingly talented Canadian artists coming together on ONE stage – Alessia Cara was recently announced to be a special tour guest for Shawn Mendes’ upcoming world tour!  Unfortunately, Alessia won’t be joining Shawn for his Canadian dates.  Alessia posted on Instagram, “So happy to finally announce that I’ll be joining my friend Shawn Mendes in Europe, US & the UK for his tour this year.  Come hang with a bunch of Canadians, we’re nice.”

And great news – for the Americans – Shawn has added an additional 16 dates to the North American leg of his tour.  Billboard explains, “Shawn Mendes: The Tour will now make stops in Milwaukee, Chicago, Los Angeles, Oakland, Boston, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Columbus, Montreal and more this summer, per the latest update.”  Shawn’s world tour will include 95 shows, kicking off in Amsterdam on March 7 and will fully come to an end in Mexico City on December 21 for three performances.
