Looking for something exciting to do this March? The Quarter Arts Society along with GLOW is going to be putting on a parade March 21 that’ll take you through an art walk through Boyle Street featuring enormous animated lanterns, hand-made by artists & members of the community. And the best part…it’s  FREE for everyone! It’s the perfect place to take the family or even for a romantic date night, perfect for the ‘gram’. It’ll be Edmonton’s first-ever community-grown illuminated night festival unique to Boyle Street and the Quarters Downtown.

The theme for the parade will be, “Magic”, with lanterns that imagine both the possible and impossible with their lanterns. After winding through the neighborhood (starting and finishing at CO*LAB),  you’ll be able to head over for “After GLOW” which will go late into the night, with DJ’s, art installations, backyard fire pits, and more. The evening portion will be licensed, so make sure to bring your I.D. if you feel like grabbing a few drinks to warm you up.
