It’s finally Halloween weekend – let the scares begin!! There are dozens of creepy events across Edmonton this weekend. Here are 6 spooky events you might want to check out – if you dare. Muah ha ha ha!!!

All-You-Can-Eat-Cereal Cartoon Party (AYCEC Cartoon Party) 

Cartoon lovers of all ages are invited to enjoy the AYCEC Cartoon Party this Saturday at the Metro Cinema! Take the age-old tradition of cartoons and Saturday Mornings to the big screen! The cartoon lineup is a surprise, but you can expect to see shows from the 40s to 80s. Adults tickets are $17, youth/students/seniors are $15. Kids 12 & under are $13 – get your tickets here!

Pumpkins After Dark 

Celebrate Halloween this weekend with over 6,000 hand-carved pumpkins! Pumpkins After Dark has plenty to see with a beautiful, yet spooky pathway of lit pumpkin sculptures and music. Rutherford Manor Haunt 

Enter the multi-award-winning Rutherford Manor Hunt at your own risk this weekend for epic thrills and chills and more! This is the final year the haunt will be this size, next year will be a completely new experience for the haunt. Also, this haunted event is different than others as the Rutherford Manor Haunt supports the Edmonton Food Bank and SCARS (Second Chance Animal Rescue) by accepting donations for admission. You can donate a minimum of $2 to SCARS or donate a food item for admission to this event.

Haunted Pub Tours 

Take part in a haunted ghost tour this weekend before spooky season is over. These Haunted Pub Tours take a dip into Old Strathcona’s deep and rich history, while also exploring the hauntings, murders, and mysteries of a haunted pub. Headless Carrot Halloween Party 

Join the Carrot Community Arts Coffeehouse and Arts on the Ave for some ghostly fun at their annual Halloween party! This party features hotdog + marshmallow roasting, a costume contest with 3 prizes, pumpkin carving, special spooky drinks, and much more. DARK at Fort Edmonton Park

Back for its fifth year, DARK brings the scare back to Fort Edmonton Park! Aside from the spooky fun, you can enjoy local food trucks and a live DJ while running away in terror! DARK operates from 7 – 11 pm. This event is also recommended for those 14+. Tickets are very limited – so get em quick here!
