This Pop Star Just Broke The Pope's Record???

Yeezus has officially eclipsed the Pope. At least when it comes to selling merch. The DailyMail UK has reports that at Kanye’s Monday night show at Madison Square Garden in New York, he broke the Pope’s record of most merchandise sold.

Kanye sold $780,000 at the New York stop of his Saint Pablo tour. Pope Francis had only managed to move $540,000 in merchandise back in December. We think its safe to say that His Holiness wasn’t selling these blessed Rob Kardashian shirts!

If you were wondering, the Pope’s merch consisted of, “rosary beads, crucifixes and baseball caps featuring a dove of peace…a limited edition Christmas ornament and a bad emblazoned with raw words ‘Francis Our Pope.’” But all that wasn’t enough to out sell Yeezus.
