Gaga leaked four lines of the song’s lyrics early morning (September 7). In addition to typing them out in a tweet, the singer shared a collage of photos adorned with the lyrics written out in her own handwriting.

Mark Ronson of the infamous Uptown Funk, is a co-writer and producer on the track!

Lyrically, “Perfect Illusion” is about the “highest of highs and lowest of lows” in a relationship which has turned sour, hence the song name. Gaga described it during an interview to iHeartMedia as “about modern ecstasy…
