Ashley Graham To Cover Vogue For The First Time

You may know her better when she’s in her swimsuit while covering Sports Illustrated, but you’ll definitely know her after this! Ashley Graham has become a worldwide idol as she pushed boundaries as a “plus size” model, and was the first to appear in Sports Illustrated.

The gorgeous, curvy model has just landed an even bigger accomplishment; her very own Vogue cover!

The announcement was made earlier this week on her Instagram page. This may not seem like a hard thing to do, but as a curvy model she’s come face to face with huge obstacles in her career.

“I think I was about 18 years old, and I already had an agent tell me that I needed to lose weight, I had clients tell me I needed to lose weight.  I still didn’t have that gumption to lose weight for them. It was truly, it came from within. It was, ‘Are you healthy? Are you happy? Is this a woman you want to hang out with?’ And all those answers were no.”
