Pug Told He Has Weeks To Live... Celebrates 15th Birthday at HOOTERS!!!

Above is Scrappy! When he was 13 years old he was told to have only weeks to live.. Scrappy was suffering from a variety of issues: fungal skin infections, fleas, hookworms, rectal prolapse, oral hygiene, damage to his back legs, and an injured right shoulder. The vets encouraged his owner to consider euthanasia…

His owner refused, believing she saw the hope in his eyes..

He began to get better thanks to his owner. Also of course Central Florida Pug Rescue, the folks at the Privileged Critters Animal Hospital in Lakeland, Florida, multiple vet visits, and lots of love.

In August, Scrappie celebrated his 15th birthday – a remarkable milestone given the state he was in just two years ago. To celebrate, Carlie helped organize a big day full of adventures. First, Scrappie helped Carlie do a little shopping for the day. Then had a wonderful celebration at HOOTERS!!!
