Woman Divorces Her Husband of 22 Years Because He Voted for Trump

Gayle McCormick DOES NOT mess around. Gayle found out that her husband voted for Trump during a lunch with friends and promptly filed for divorce.

McCormick says she was, “totally undid me that he could vote for Trump. I felt like I had been fooling myself. It opened up areas between us I had not faced before. I realized how far I had gone in my life to accept things I would have never accepted when I was younger.”

It appears that Gayle isn’t the only person to end a relationship over Trump’s presidency. According to the New York Daily News, “a Reuters/Ipsos poll of 6,426 people found that 16% had stopped talking to a family member or friend as a result of the election. Thirty percent said they ended a relationship entirely.”
