Wendy’s ‘chicken nugget boy’ AKA Carter Wilkerson first became famous back in April when Wendy’s told him he could have a years worth of free chicken nuggets if he got 18million retweets.

This challenge was just the beginning of his journey! Soon after Carter was invited onto the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Ellen expressed her fear of him taking the world record of most retweeted tweet from her. Her famous Oscars tweet held the record of 3.4million retweets until yesterday when Carters tweet took the lead with 3.78million retweets.

It was even made official by Guinness World Records!

This wasn’t even the best part of Carter’s day! WENDY’S AWARDED HIM A YEAR’S WORTH OF NUGGETS!

Wendy’s also donated $100k to The Dave Thomas Foundation for adoption finding homes for children in foster care. (YAYYYYY!!!!)

Let’s just also realize that we were ALL a part of history in the making!
