Jakub Voracek, The Philadelphia Flyers star winger, who signed an eight-year, $66-million contract extension during the offseason, pledged to donate $1,000 to multiple sclerosis for every point he records in the upcoming 2015-16.

Voracek set up a foundation in his native Czech Republic after his sister was diagnosed with MS two years ago.

I would love to see other NHL players follow in his initiative!
